New (stylised as NEW) is the sixteenth solo studio album by Paul McCartney released on 14 October 2013 in the United Kingdom and the following day in the United States. The album was his first since 2007's Memory Almost Full to consist entirely of new compositions. The album was executive produced by Giles Martin, with production by Martin, Mark Ronson, Ethan Johns and Paul Epworth and it was mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound, New York.

that faithfully captures Paul McCartney's life on the road. Based upon the book Each One Believing: Onstage, Off Stage and Backstage, published by Chronicle Books, the show is comprised of over 40 pictures taken by photographer Bill Bernstein over the course of the most successful tour of McCartney's post-Beatles career. The tour is set to visit cities across the United States throughout 2006, beginning with the March 4th opening of Paul McCartney's Each One Believing: The Tour, at San Diego's Morrison Gallery

Paul McCartney Recreates Iconic Beatles Album Art by Crossing Abbey Road Again 49 Years Later. The special visit to Abbey Road Studios was not only for the famous crosswalk but to also play four new songs from his upcoming Egypt Station album as part of a secret show. Also in attendance were McCartney’s daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney and actress Liv Tyler. This summer has been chock full of nostalgia for Beatles fans, thanks to McCartney.

Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool on 18th June 1942. He was raised in the city and educated at the Liverpool Institute. Since writing his first song at the age of 14, Paul McCartney has dreamed and dared to be different. In the sixties, as the writer and co-author of their greatest songs, he changed the world of music with The Beatles. Legendary albums include: Please Please Me, Revolver, Help!, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and The White Album

Celebrities & Pop Culture. Paul McCartney Recreated ‘Abbey Road’ Album Cover By Crossing Iconic Street Again. This is enough to give any fan chills! Clint Davis 2018-07-30. Clint Davis ·July 30, 2018. When Paul McCartney crosses any street in the world, there are probably people cheering and snapping photos of him - but when he’s crossing Abbey Road, the entire world takes notice. The beloved musician was back in London recently and he gave his fans a treat by walking on the iconic crosswalk used by he and his Beatles bandmates on the cover of 1969’s Abbey Road.

McCartney is an album that wants desperately to convince. Its explicit and uniform message is that Paul McCartney, his wife Linda and family have found peace and happiness in a quiet home away from the city and away from the hassle of the music business. This is a beautiful vision and, like most listeners, I wanted very much to believe it was true. On the basis of the music alone I was entirely persuaded. The 14 cuts on McCartney are masterful examples of happiness, relaxation and contentment. Unfortunately, there is more to this album than just music. Last week’s Ed Sullivan Show announced that Paul McCartney would introduce his new record for the American audience. As millions of viewers tuned in, the show flashed more pictures of the happy family on the screen while one of the songs from the album played in the background. It was not convincing.

In a New York studio, Paul and Linda put the finishing touches on the single "Another Day" from the 1971 album Ram. In the 1970s, a depressed, heavy-drinking Paul McCartney walked away from The Beatles and reinvented himself as the leader of another hitmaking rock'n'roll band. Enthralled by his new group, McCartney blocked out a week in August at Abbey Road and the band nailed eight songs, five of them on the first take. He also toyed with band names ranging from the half-decent (Turpentine) to the dreadful (The Dazzlers). In the end, the name of the new group was to come to him in a moment of acute panic.
