Björk is the only studio album by Icelandic singer Björk Guðmundsdóttir as a child singer, released on 18 December 1977 by Fálkinn. In 1976, Björk appeared on Icelandic radio singing "I Love to Love" through the music school she attended, which led her to a record deal and the release, with the help of stepfather Sævar, of her first solo album in 1977.

Post was Björk's second solo studio album. Released in June 1995, the album was produced in conjunction with Nellee Hooper, Tricky, Graham Massey of 808 State, and electronica producer Howie B. Building on the success of Debut, Björk continued to pursue different sounds, taking particular interest in dance and techno. Production by Tricky and Howie B also provided trip sounds on tracks like "Possibly Maybe" and "Enjoy". Björk and Barney both appear in the film, playing two occidental guests on a Japanese factory whaling vessel who ultimately transform into two whales. She is also responsible for the film's soundtrack, her second after Selmasongs. Björk also appeared in the 2005 documentary Screaming Masterpiece, which delves into the Icelandic music scene.

Debut is considered the debut studio album by Icelandic recording artist Björk as an international singer, released in July 1993 by One Little Indian and Elektra Entertainment. It was produced by Björk and Nellee Hooper. It was Björk's first recording following the dissolution of her previous band, the Sugarcubes. The album departed from the rock style of her previous work and drew from an eclectic variety of styles, including electronic pop, house music, jazz and trip hop.

Debut was released in July 1993 on One Little Indian Records. Björk had relocated to London, embracing its dance music scene. Thus, Debut mainly incorporates house music, although the influence of the burgeoning trip-hop scene is also evident.

Björk's 1st full-length studio album: ‹ Debut, Post, Homogenic, Selmasongs, Vespertine, Medúlla, DR9, Volta, Biophilia, Vulnicura, Utopia . This Master release folder contains all full-length Debut releases with possible bonus tracks. Releases with material cut from Debut are contained within separate Debut Sampler folder. com/Debut (Björk album). Bjørk is a Faroese, Danish & Norwegian given name meaning birch.

25 years ago today, Björk released 'Debut. Anticipating greatness, we put her on the cover of our May 1993 issue. This is the accompanying interview. Could Debut be the one to change that? Björk isn’t so sure. I still have so far to go and though I think this album is alright, I don’t think I’ll make a really good album until maybe three or four records down the road. There’s so much that I still need to learn. Björk is perhaps her own worst critic but at heart she is also a serious idealist about her music. I want this album to be pop music that everybody can listen to. I think not sticking to any particular musical style makes the album real. Life isn’t always the same.
